Chicago born drummer, percussionist, audio engineer, and music producer, m.Hoj (aka Michael Hojnacki), creates a genre bending style of music. Influenced by many styles of music m.Hoj's producing has been said to have a very cinematic essence; thinking beyond commercial norms with sound design and sonic textures to paint pictures and bring stories to life. As a drummer, Michael creates grooves with an underlying dance. From intertwining rhythms to simple beats, he uses sensitivity, feeling and color, bringing a full breadth of sound from the drums. In addition, Michael utilizes his production and audio engineering background to explore timbres and sounds, implementing them to add depth, subtitles, and edge to his drumming. In addition to his drumming and producer, Michael is the lead audio engineer of Seawall Sessions.
